What is Birch Juice Powder?
Birch sap is a natural sap collected from the trunks of birch trees (Betula spp.) during spring budding. It has a slightly sweet, clear texture, and is known as the "life-giving water of the northern forest." It can only be collected during the two or three weeks of early spring, when the snow melts and the sap rises. Each tree produces less than one liter per day. Birch juice powder is an instant powder made by filtering fresh birch sap, cryogenically concentrating it, and vacuum freeze-drying it.
