Introduction
As a derivative of vitamin C, Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate has multiple characteristics: it not only shows good stability in high temperature environments, but also can be fully dissolved in oil media. Its outstanding advantage is that it has excellent skin absorption ability and can be decomposed into free vitamin C inside the skin, thereby exerting corresponding physiological functions.
The efficacy of this ingredient has been certified in Japan and South Korea: in Japan, when the concentration reaches 3%, it is approved as a drug-like active ingredient; in South Korea, it is registered as a skin-lightening ingredient at a concentration of 2%. Studies have shown that it can inhibit intracellular tyrosinase activity and melanin production, reduce ultraviolet damage to cell DNA, and prevent lipid peroxidation, thereby delaying the aging process of the skin.

Application: Mainly used as an antioxidant, whitening agent, freckle remover and moisturizer.
Note: It is recommended to use chelating agents in the formula because chelating agents are very effective in preventing discoloration; because combining with water may cause oxidation of VCIP, add surfactants with long-chain polyoxyethylene to stabilize the system and strengthen the interface film; avoid prolonged heating.
