3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a vitamin C derivative that is not only excellent for use in formulations, but also promotes penetration through the stratum corneum into the dermis, where it rapidly binds with biological enzymes to exert its vitamin C effects, improving bioavailability.
