1. Whitening and lightening of spots
Alpha Arbutin Powder inhibits the activity of tyrosinase, reduces the production of melanin, helps lighten spots, and has a whitening effect.

1) Liposomes: Several arbutin liposomes were prepared by membrane dispersion method. Compared with solution, although the permeability of arbutin liposomes was reduced, its deposition rate in the epidermis/dermis was increased.
2) Film-forming agent: Using the emulsion preparation method, high molecular weight polyvinyl alcohol was used as the film-forming material, and azone was added as the penetrant to prepare a compound arbutin emulsion film for the treatment of clinical melasma. The results showed that the preparation was stable, smooth and easy to apply, and had excellent film-forming and film-removing properties. Some people also used the same film-forming material, added arbutin and Chinese medicine extract to prepare a film-forming agent, which was clinically used to treat melasma, with a total effective rate of 96.9% and no adverse reactions were found.
3) Cream: "Schiff" compound cream contains all-trans retinoic acid, arbutin, and vitamin E, and is used to treat melasma. Clinical observations showed that the total effective rate of the treatment group was 77.6%, and the total effective rate of the control group was 26.5%. 3.5% -4% arbutin and several Chinese medicines (angelica dahurica, astragalus, etc.) are used to make anti-freckle cream for the treatment of chloasma. The total effective rate of clinical observation is 83.0%, and there is no adverse reaction.
